CURFEW was a series of concert organised by Vanuit bed in collaboration with IDFX at Electron in Breda (NL). Curfew normally implicates a time in which you are bound by rules and obligations. The CURFEW evenings however, stood for the absolute opposite, a place and time where the performing artists could be completely unbound and free to show their own world with music and/or images. The experiment and interaction with the huge space of Electron was paramount. The large metal interior and usually long reverberation of sound in Electron formed quite a challenge for the artists acoustically as well as visually. Therefor experiments had to entail both aspects in music and imagery. CURFEW's intended purpose was to show the enormous potential of a large empty space such as Electron, resulting in evenings full of of surprises for the audience. This DVD includes the highlights of the four CURFEW evenings which took place in Electron as well as the fifth and final CURFEW which was organised in church "Het Ledikant".
